My Idol in UMT

hehe..just updating with light content today..this is the picture of my two idol in UMT..on the left is Assoc.Prof Dr Abol Munafi Ambok Bolong,on the right is Lokman Nor Hakim NorAzmi. They are two fella I Respect most in my whole life. One is lecturer, and one is my brother and a teacher to me. I owe much to them..They are my idol in UMT.

I owe Lokman in my thesis writing,and Dr. Abol is my best lecturer that I take as an idol to follow and as my guider. He atract me much to my course,Aquaculture( although I'm not dare enough to take my final project with him...heheh). I'm trying to persue my Master under him but I just follow my instinct to be a teacher.hehe..but what shock me most,he is still trying to find me whether I want to do my master under him..he..Im so shy when Lokman tell me that.Sorry Doc!!hehe.

okay thats all I want to share for now..hehe..I will be going to SMK Seri Semantan for LMPK this 14 Jly 2008..adios

Cara Membuat silaj

Kaedah membuat silaj


Foder untuk silaj hendaklah dipotong pendek diantara 3-15 cm supaya mudah dipadatkan. Foder di dalam silo hendaklah dipadatkan dengan secepat mungkin dalam masa dua hari selepas dipotong bagi menghindarkan udara daripada terperangkap. Keadaan ini akan mengurangkan pernafasan sel dan aktiviti enzim. Foder yang telah dipadatkan hendaklah diperam selama sebulan bagi menghasilkan silaj yang baik. Silaj yang baik boleh disimpan bertahun-tahun lamanya jika tidak diganggu.


Bahan silaj yang mengandungi kurang karbohidrat perlu ditambah dengan asid bukan organan (sulfurik, hidroklorik, fosforik) atau boleh juga diguna asid organan (formik, propionik), tetapi bahan-bahan tersebut mahal adalah mahal. Untuk mengurangkan kos pengeluaran silaj, ianya boleh dicampur dengan jenis-jenis karbohidrat yang boleh didapati dengan lebih murah seperti gula merah dan bijirin.


Semasa proses pemeraman perubahan bahan kepada produk tertentu dalam silaj akan berlaku. Secara am, karbohidrat dalam bahan hijau/segar yang diperam ditukarkan menjadi asid laktik atau asetik. Proses penukaran dilakukan oleh bakteria anaerobik dengan bantuan haba yang dihasilkan oleh sel tanaman yang masih hidup. Asid-asid yang dikeluarkan, terutamanya asid laktik akan merendahkan pH dan ini menyebabkan proses biokimia yang terjadi pada bahan silaj terhenti. Dengan itu, bahan yang diperam akan dapat disimpan dengan baik dan kualiti pemakanannya dapat dikekalkan.

heheh..just last past few weeks I got new boer buck from Mardi sales in Telong..hehe..the picture is only a sample..mine maybe F2 or F3..because it was result from Mardi experiment..but I think it was good effort from government agency to provide high quality buck breed to the people and farmer at affordable price..hehe

hope my buck can produce high line of breed from my present anglo doe..hehe

No Agriculture, No Future

Assalamualaikum and Good Evening to all my loyal visitors and blogger passing by..

Today I have just a Lecture on Teaching Methods subject. What I'm Trying to express here is not how to teach, but I'm impressed about what my lecturer have said and discuss with us. We are producing food from agriculture base since we are independence. But when we are chasing the modernity of the world, we forgot our root, our strength in our land. We are chasing for Information technology, Computer and etc. So, UPM have change its name from university pertanian malaysia to university putra malaysia..so?are we modern enough now?are we safe in our own land?are we rich enough to buy anything?

But, can we buy all the thing in this world since our country is rich? what if other country don't want to sell it's food like rice and meat?what if other country also don't have enough and they also don't want to sell what is theirs?are we going to eat money since we are rich with it?can paper of money be digest by us?think..

When Prime Minister put agriculture as a focused to the country, many people didn't acknowlegde him, many people think it's as a step back for the country progress. But when FOOD CRISIS happen, many complaint why we cannot produce enough food to our own people? they are complaining why rice price hike so high? why we don't produce rice ourself since we got many paddy field?why we must import the rice? Maybe all this people think planting a paddy only take a day, producing a rice only taking one hour..Are we aware of this situation and process?

Many agriculture experts have been predicting Food Crisis will be happen nearly to this year but not so many aware or taking action of this opinion. Maybe they think by making our country rich enough, we can buy anything including food to our people..but they are not totally right..

When price of oil palm increase, many oil palm planter in FELDA feel the outcome, their payment increase up to 3000-4000 a motnh. BUT..when price of rice increase, did the farmer get the same situation as oil palm planter?why? Goverment must take action on this situation to help real poor farmer to increase their status of life..
